Increased fuel???

Default Increased fuel???

Well, yeah...the new motor bogs out a bit unless I floor it. I only have about 125 official miles on it but, I was wondering if I need to increase fuel and or pressure and how I would go about doing that.

The only other thing I think it might be is the computer, cuz I have a P28...It's just not in my car yet So I'm still running on the CX puter for now.

Any help would be appreciated...

yeah I'd mess with the fuel...flood it and see if its okay....might be your idle too

Sensor (o2, TPS)
Fuel pressure
Fuel Pump
clogged fuel filter
dirty air filter
Hope this gives u some places to start your search.

yep, and not to mention we have no idea what your running, what engine, what mods, anything.....so your guess is as good as ours.
List your set-up, what you've changed since it last ran good.

We just put the motor in my 95 cx and it's a D16Y8 with a D17A1 crank and oil pump with DC headers and a 93 del Sol si tranny. I'm running 91 in my car.

That ECU will not be happy with that engine! The OBD1 calibrations are quite a bit different than the OBD2 stuff. Especially since it wasn't a Z6 engine. Better off putting the right ECU in and then tune from there.

What would you then suggest? Convert her car to OBD2?! WHAT THE HELL FOR? Last I checked people were making OBD2 to OBD1 harnesses because the emissions and 2 O2 sensors we're more of a pain in the *** then anything. I'd suggest simply dropping in a P28 and running the 2 wires for vtec. 1995 cx's have the 4 wire O2 unlike the earlier 5th gens so you wouldn't even have to worry about that. I'm pretty sure that once you utilize the sohc vtec fuel and spark tables your motor will be much happier.
F' OBD2.

Damn...hostility! what I meant by the right ECU (meaning VTEC ECU).....was just put in the P28! It might take tuning, but be a heck of a lot closer.

Well sir, people who live in any state that have OBDII testing don't have the luxury of converting to OBDI. Also, with that motor it is going to be very tough to find a stock ECM that can handle that setup. I would suggest the correct ECM for the y8 (A P2P I *think*) and then use a VAFC or something similar to that to get the correct fuel setup.
