Default Tein Basic Damper Kit

I recently bought the Tein basic damper kit for my 01' Acura TL and im still waiting for it. In the mean time i would like to hear from you guys about them. Whats your opinion on the ride quality? Is it worth every penny? I got them for $710 shipped.

i think you made a good choice, cant beat the price. and better than buying springs and shocks seperately.

i disagree....

they are a good first damper , but i wouldnt race on them

for that price you can get GC's with tokico's....but the teins are nice.

The basic dampeners can be used for race purposes. People get these fixations, that if its not adjustable its not good. (or the more settings, the better).

A shock controls the kinetic energy in the spring, if the dampener is controlling the energy adequately, what else do you need?

hpautoworks definately has good prices, the lowest ive seen at least for tein when i got my ss i think it was 900. but to answer your question i think the basics are like the ss's with out the dampening adjustability. cant go wrong there
