Default highest compression draily driver/premium gas

hey guys my cousin has a SOHC ZC engine and is looking to do some all motor performance mods, he is wanting to boost stock compression and put in a cam just looking for advic and the original stock compression on that engine thanks

With around 15deg timing, 12:1 can be ran. I've seen many 12.5:1 motors on the street using 92 octane, but timing is down under 10deg, which is a waste IMO.

welcome to H-T, please use the search function. ive seen this topic on this forum only at least 3 times a week. i know you are somewhat a new member but please search before you post. chances are you will find pages atleast on this subject.

i am running 12.6-13.3:1 on 94 16 degrees at idle and 28 or so at top end. i am using aem ems.
