my friend Calvin(TypeC) took an entire day swapping out the valves and valve springs......its a pain in the *** cuz you need a special tool to compress and set the valve spring into the head......the one for your specific model will cost about 100 bucks......Calvin got a universal one from autozone for really cheap, but since the head symmetrics differ for every cylinder, he had to bend it and modify it for every set of springs he did.....the easiest thing i think would be to remove everything from the head and then pay a shop to install the valves, springs, and retainers into the bare head......the labor for this will cost about as much as the valve spring tool you need....i don't think you need the tool to remove the valvetrain......contact typeC at mstrmind97@aol.com.........he should net you know all the details on the install

Getting the retainers and valves out are not the problem. You need the tool to install the valve retainers. You might want to check how much it cost at a local shop. It may be worth it

usually you dont want to do valves without a valve job... which a machine shop shoudl do.
