what would be fair price??

Default what would be fair price??

it is my frends car and he is not sher what to seel it for or if he should just keep it

93 Honda Prelude
Custom 'Panther' alum. alloy rims 16" 225
2.3 liter Dohc Timing belt broke, possible valve and piston damage
Body in good shape beside some minor paint damage on passenger side of front
bumber and half-dollar sized rust spot on passenger door
power locks, power sunroof, power windows, power mirrors, ABS, Driver airbag,
black leather interior, tilt steering
Manual trans.

thenk about 100k give or tack
it ran fine befor the timing belt brok
has no other prblems

i was looking for seraous ansers and know it would not be much too

and i did git a good laf out of the $5 to $5.51 bid thing

but i m asking becous i am thenking of gitting it my self and do not what to spend to much on it

valve/piston damage ins't what I would call cheap.. Tell him you'll buy the whole motor off of him for 100 dollars.

Sounds like it wasn't taken care of. I wouldn't touch it. If you know how to fix things, buy it and fix it with about $700 in mind to get it in some kind of working order. Otherwise. Not worth your trouble. $750?

i agree. they did not take care of it if its around 100k and they did not replace the timing belt. kbb value: good cond.= 4500. get price quotes then subract the cost of repairs from value. then get it as cheap as possible.
Dont repair it tho, drop the h22.
