Engine code question??
I have a '93 Accord EX and everyplace I've looked has given me a half *** answer.
What is my actual engine code, and chasis code...
This is what I've come up with Eng. code: F22A1,6 <<<< this is unclear to me. The ,6 is what I don't get.
Is there a place I can look on the engine itself.
Last just for my future knowledge the chasis is a CB7 correct?
Sorry for the Nube questions.
Thanks in advance.
~Greg

There's a flat spot where the serial # is stamped. That always starts with the engine type.
F22A1,6 probably means that either-or was available. Your serial # will start with either F22A1 or F22A6. Maybe one was California the other was 49-state???

the 6 is just a # that signifies the engine.....its like the F (in F22), it holds no value, but its jst there to distinguish that block
