Default changing alt. belt on my DA?

how hard is it to replace the alternator belt on my 91 Integra? I have A/C too. Does anyone have a HELM's scan or diagram of some sort? Around how much time would this take?

TIA

I changed mine without the manual in about
30min

1st loosen the power steering belt, and take off the belt check
2nd loosen the a/c tensioner pulley and take off the belt check
3rd loosen the aternator and place new belts.

all 3 belts run for less than $30.

You can replace the alt. and P/S belts w/o even getting under the car. You can remove the A/C belt to get the alternator belt off, but you will have to unbolt the front lower engine mount from the frame rail to get the A/C belt off to replace it.

You do NOT have to unbolt the engine mount on the DA, maybe on your 94 but I wouldn't know and I wouldn't assume it was the same as my '90.

All the belts will come off without removing any brackets or any of that. Remove the power steering belt, then the a/c belt, then thr alternator belt. For the a/c belt you will probably need to loosen the bolt on the idler pulley bracket. The alternator belt is the hardest to get back on just because it's hard to reach anyway. The belt will jsut barely slide on with some fiddling.

Yea, you definately don't touch the engine mounts on a DA.

I finally finished the install and it seems to be running well but I noticed that the positive wire to the alternator seems to be smoking and getting real hot. What can it be? Can you post pics of it installed? I was just wondering if I routed the harness right.

THANKS!
