When I'm driving at highway speeds, there is a certain amount of noise coming in the car from the road, the engine, tires, etc. Lately I've noticed that when I close the throttle (trying to maintain a certain speed or slow down or whatever), it sounds like the engine gets louder than if the throttle is open, even just slightly. Has anyone ever noticed this or have any idea why? Intake and exhaust are stock.
well i don;t know how you can hear it with stock exhuast. But i have a greddy evo and everytime i let off the throttle, it gets louder. Just like downshifting. Im pretty sure its normal.
Our cars have the deepest tone from about 3300- 4000 rpms especially noticable when you have an intake or eghaust. Mabye that could be it???
