Nitrous Express Ntercooler Kit or a 30 Wet Shot
I was wondering if any of you guys have used the NX Ntercooler kit? What are the benefits? Disadvantages? I have read on here that it causes the motor to run lean? Can a purge kit be put on it? Also, would a 30 wet shot on a stock turbo H23 at 7 psi blow it? I, along with others, are curious on this subject. All input is appreciated!
The Ntercooler kit makes it so that your intercooler is colder, which makes the air going into your motor cooler. Basically, it is like you are boosting in January all the time. You don't need a purge kit on an Ntercooler kit because that is basically what it is. I set up a kit on my buddy's car and we simply put the purge line so that it sprayed his intercooler. If you are wondering about whether or not you can put a purge kit on it just so that you can look cool then you need to get your priorities straight.
Denser air= leaner condition if you don't have a way to compensate with additional fuel.
I don't see why you'd want to add a 30 shot when you can just turn up the boost. Why make things more difficult than they have to be?

I was curious about the purge kit because i was trying to get an answer for a fellow HT member. He, in fact, wanted to look cool with it. I do not have a boost controller to crank up the boost yet and i was just wondering if there would be more of a benefit with the nitrous. With the Ntercooler kit, I would need to compensate with more fuel right? I am running 450cc injectors currently with an safc and fuel rail, FPR, and walbro intank pump. Safc is set a -35% across the board. What would i do to add more fuel? Thanks for the input.
First off, slap your fellow H-T member.
Secondly, a boost controller will cost a whole lot less than a nitrous setup.
Third, I don't understand how the VAFC hack works and from everyone that I've talked to it is a dangerous way to tune a boosted motor.
Finally, K.I.S.S.

If you already had the kit, then putting it on wouldn't harm anything unless you simply reached the limit of the stock block. However, I'd sell the kit and buy a boost controller and Hondata.
