Default Best ECU for ODB0 -> ODB1 conversion

Like it says , what is best ECU to use in an ODB0 to ODB1 converion for run Single O2 sensor. WHat has best fuel maps and is ready to roll. Without expensice custom tuning. This is for a B16A1 with Skunk cams 4-1 JDM header and a larger TB and ITR style intake. Obviously Dizzy will be swapped.

Tried search and read , adn read and read, but question was never answered.

I would think a P28, but I don't know if it operates off of a single O2 sensor or not.

Yes, P28 is best. It runs off of one 4-wire O2 sensor. The only downside is the P28 can not use a knock sensor.

If, of course, you consider this to be a down side at all.

If you don't want any hassle, get the PR3 ecu, it's made for B16.

Was just reading back through the tread and saw this last answer. The whole point of an ODB1 conversions is I have a JDM 4-1 header I want to run and the PR3 I have now requires 2 O2 sensors, on on Cyl pairs 1+3 and another on 2+4 which is a little hard to do when all 4 dump into one collector. Unless someone has tried O2 sensors on #1 and #4 down tubes which I believe should work. O2 sensor doesn't know if its 1, 2 or 4 cylinders feeding it. But if the computer doesn't see it respond it will run like crap. And Cylinders are controlled in pairs so if one of those pairs is read it should still work. But nobody has tried this yet. That has answered me anyway.

Well I want to keep knock sensor. It does serve a good purpose. Someone told me a P30 is a better choice since it does use knock sensor.

I hope thats what he means, I already have a PR3 but that and PW0 both use 2 O2 sensors to corol two pairs of cylinders seperately. Hence the 4-1 header problem.
