Trade in your R for a RSX-R?
Nope! Simply put the RSX-R is a "refined" Integra. They refined the fun factor also. I've seen vdo's of the two facing off...by far the DC2 looked more funner to drive.
Long live the DC2 Integras!

Yeah, it's an "AND" thing. But the DC5-R would have to be all happy JDM Spec (Brembos, etc.). And then it could be my daily driver and the DC-2 would go full on track bitch.
The DC2-R is mine forever... until the wheels fall off and it has no cash value to anyone else.

Read the review from HK magazine and the old R is more aggressive than the new R when on Cam. The new R added 100lb of weight to the car and it's mostly to the front, so the old R is a better balance car. However, the new R has significantly improve the oversteer. But overall performance is better but the new R is definitely more comfortable and quieter. So, it's your choice. You want a pure race car? or a high performance luxury car?
It's like EVO, the fastest one is still EVO 3 because of the lightness of the car.

the 1965,66 mustang is the most sought after because it is the first and best looking stangs ever built. someday my kid will say the same about his(or her) dad's FIRST generation TYPE R in the garage, true classic
i hope to however add newer type r's in the garage to keep my PY company, but never replace.

I wouldn't even trade an LS for a DC5R.
The DC5 has too many compromises, the most offensive being the front suspension.

My thoughts exactly. My ITR will be mine for as long as it runs and I am around. Hopefully, that's many, many years. But I wouldn't really want to buy the RSX-R either. I'd consider buying an e46 M3, used of course, in the next 2-3 years.

To answer the original post, I would never trade my ITR for an RSX-R ever. The only good lookin thing about the new R is the tailights. Mmmmm...
I will be a dick. Why does this question get asked every 5 days? I think we all know the answer in this particular forum...
To answer your question. No, no trading in for an RSX-S. But, will gladly trade for NSX-R or something "better" IMO.
