Default Intermediate shaft removal 4th Gen

Can anyone plz explain how you remove and replace this please (pics if poss)
I tried searching but doesnt com up with anything (im sure i can remem a thread on it! ?)

you have to unbolt from block !

I've never had any issues. Pics should not be necessary it is really straight forward, you unbolt the three bolts on the driver's side and then pull and wiggle and it just slides out. be sure to drain your tranny fluid.

Thats my passenger side though.

Is it possible to just remove the left drive shaft? and how. I fthe int. shaft needs to be removed also the were are the three bolts (bear in mind Im doing this whenever i get chance do its gonna be this weekend I get to go down but I need to order the part before)

i think you have to pull both but just get under there and fool around, you should see how it goes togeter!

completely unbolt the driver side axle from the hub. Remove the bolts holding the intermediate shaft to the block. Try pulling the whole axle and intermediate shaft from the tranny. If it doesn't come out try using a little persuasion between the tranny and the intermediate shaft to loosen it but be careful not to hurt anything. I unbolted the lower control arm from the strut because it was easier to pull the axle out for me. Thats about it.

Wheres the drain plug for the tranny? and does anyone know the capacity?
