To make a 12 second N/A RSX type s? what parts would it take and could I make it smog legal?

I would have to say, If the vehicle in question was on a serious diet....Like replacement windows diet...And the Toda kit, race header, CAI,+++ and a very serious diet it might be close...

Lets see some more posts and see where this takes us to.

 

Theres someone that has one running low 13s. Not exactly sure what the set up but I know it involves a K24 block. My guess would be K24 block, CAI, Race Header, Exhaust, ITR IM, ITR Cams, Hondata ITR Reflash, Pulleys, Clutch, Tires, ITR Pistons, and lots of Tuning.

 

ECU, full-exhaust, intake, cams, port and polish head, bore TB, DC5R intake manifold.

And of course lightening weight, lose spare tire, jack tools, subwoofer, remove insulation, firewall, sound deadening material, cruise control, AC, leather seats, get some racing seats, lose the back seats.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!???!!!?? I'm on clubrsx all the time and I didn't see that. Basically you'd need CAI, ITR IM, bored TB, big cams, tuned ECU, racer header, exhaust, really nice tires, LSD, possibly ITR final drive, lightened flywheel. At the moment it's pretty tough because the cams that are out aren't ridiculous, and the one's that are nice are really expensive. I can't wait to hear about this 12 n/a rsx. Was he on drags? Cause that doesn't count for me.

 

Toda Kit, I/H/E, 4.76 final drive, slicks, motor mount inserts, some weight reduction (including a lightweight driver).
