Hey, somone I know is offering me a JDM ITR front clip, I was just wondering if its worth it.
Worth it to me means, resale factor, I have an EG and no use of this thing, I just think I can make some money from it. just wondering if you guys can help me make a choice.

Its a 97 CW front clip
Its a complete front clip, even includes front 2 wheels and suspenion, dash, cluster, all vents.
$6500 CAD

Is it worth me buying and trying to part out to sell it?

 

You can use the engine and the front lower control arms and suspension. Then all you have to do is buy the back half of the 5 lug conversion. You can probably get a good price for the bodywork, and if the dash is still intact with all the necessary parts to make a RHD conversion, then you can probably get another few hundred bucks for it. I'd think it's worth it if you're willing to take the time to sell the leftover parts.

 

Ya I was thinking about using the suspenion. but the heck has rear suspenion parts only??


Anyways, I dont want to use any of it, sorry if I came across sounding like I didnt know I could use some parts. I know I can use almost all of it, but I dont have the money for it, the only reason I'd buy this is to part it out and sell it to make a profit.

 

I personally wouldn't do it, most of the opportunity for profit has already been taking when you buy a clip. You still would make a profit assuming everything sold, but it's not worth the hassle in my opinion.
