kinda its a whole different computer from PC's like Intel and AMD...it uses a different operating system, instead of windows its like MacOS or something.

What makes the overpriced underpowered apple good for editing vids and graphics?
One way benchmarks and overhyped end-users waiting for the revolutionary one mouse button and leoperd printed monitors.
You cant even play counterstrike for cris' sake.

b/c they work on a whole different platform...you can't compare the speed in Mhz from PC to Mac, it just isn't the same. The graphics rendering is second to none and blows the hell out of PC's...
I'd still take a PC over a Mac anyday, unless that was my specific use for it...
Graphics/Video = Mac
everything else = PC

Moving off topic, but Yoshi, do you recall a 99 ITR with a OE JDM front end (HIDz and all) with 17" Blitz Technospeeds totalled from the front view. Carbon Sparco Seats, Jun Cams and Valvetrain (front end smashed). My friend says he knows you from 1-2 years back. Owned a company called Generation Performance in Irving.TX. They did alot of rally stuff too.

Macs run a different OS but most JDM'ers still use MACOS. They are really good for Desktop publishing among other things. However, the IBM'ish market is prodominant but MACOS has their niche as well

I'm using the G4/733 (if i get one) for video editing only.. since Apples rule when it comes to graphics and video editing. So much more stable than a PC.
I try to use both PC and Mac so I won't be so biased like a lot of people are these days...its best to know both worlds.
The laptop on the other hand is for a friend who needs one to do school work on n' thiings like that...
