i was thinking about buying a shif light, has anybody installed one? does anybody have any info on installing a shif light. thanks for all your help..

Its real easy to install and wire. I installed my shift light on the steering column, looks very discrete. Wiring is just as easy, well atleast for my ITR. If you remove the gauge cluster, you will see three screws on it. U attach the appropiate 3 wires from shift light to the 3 screws. took me a total of 5 mins to install and 3 of those mins was looking for the damn magnet flathead attachment that fell off into the steering column.

that not hard at all, but is it the same for a 95 rs?

 

auto meter makes a mini shift light. you need to connect it to a rpm activated switch, and need msd rpm pills to. just mount it on the guage bezel and it look pretty discrete and does the job. it come with good instructions too. tell me how to post a pic and will show you one.
