Default All motor H22 options

Hey fellas,

I have an H22 hatch and I am going all motor. What should I look into, performance wise? Pulley's, Cams, raise compression, etc. Anything else?

I already have I/H/E, ACT clutch, and ACT lightened flywheel

if you plan the all motor route, raising compression would be very ideal, especially since higher lift cams and high compression go hand in hand...at least to make good power.Keep your stock crank pulley and i guess you can try changing your alternator pulley to a underdrive one while your at it.And if you dont mind a little vibration, you can remove your counter balance belt. That will make a big difference in acceleration.since its in a hatch,i seriously recommend getting at least the integra brakes up front and rear disk brakes.

your question is so general how can anyone answer it?

If you want to raise compression, Type-S pistons and milling the head is your only option unless you want to sleeve the block.

hondata s200, good header, CAI, take the secondaries outta the manifold (shorter runners ) i'd put a zex kit or wet kit on it, the motor will take a 100 shot easy....i dipped 11's w/ 75 zex kit, act clutch, the manifold trick, Cold Air, slicks in a full interior dx hatch!

he is talking about removing the butterfly plate. we picked up gains everywhere doing this. we did it on the dyno tuned before and after.

how much power do you want, properly tuned jdm h22 with i/h/e and type S cams should make around 200hp.

as for s2s2's... i havent really seen anyone get good gains from those. a guy running almost the exact same setup as us only made 200 with s2s2's we are doing that with type s cams and an intake that fits inside the throttle body

yeah...and all i was saying about the NOS kit was that was all i had on it and it dipped into the 11's easy...duh....Thats another option if he wanted to go that route and it's cheap

you can spend a lot of money on yours like mine and get 205. i spent around 12 grand or more on the engine and trans. i am going through round 2 this time and expect to see the real power.
