Default Oil Pressure Specs?

Hey guys. I put a JDM H22A engine in my Lude last summer. When I first put it in the Vtec worked flawlessly, then, several months ago it would only work when the engine was at at one-quarter engine temprature and then just for a few minutes after it reached half way temp mark. I just checked the oil pressure and here is it what I found.

15-20psi cold idle
50 psi @ 3000 & 5000 RPMS at quarter temprature
35psi and dropping at 3000-5000 RPMS at full warm-up.
15psi at warm idle

Obviously, I have poor oil pressure after the oil thins out a little bit when the engine warms up. Yes, my oil level is exactly where it was supposed to be.

The first thing I am going to do is drop the oil pan and clean the pick up screen and check/replace the o-ring on the pick-up tube.

Aside from having poor clearance on the bearings, is there anything else I can do/replace to get my oil pressure back up to where it should be?

What should my oil pressure be at 3,000 or 5,000 RPM's after the engine is warmed up?

I assume that the green plug in this picture is the vtec oil pressure switch correct? http://63.144.16.232/b/Honda-tech/vtecsol.jpg

Thanks,

-CaN

I know 55psi is what it needs to be at, for vtec to work..
I think.....

I'm thinking, off the top of my head, that VTEC won't engage under 7psi (And that's where it will send a CEL). The stock OPS sends a Check Oil light at 5psi... at that level, if you haven't already frantically cut your engine off, you're pretty much out of oil anyway and the engine has cut ITSELF off...

...but that's just off the top of my head from the manual, I might be mistaken...

Dude I hope you are way wrong about it being 7psi.

The minimum for idle is like 10psi.

Oil pan isnt dented, but I am going to drop it and take a look at things, hopefully it will be something obvious and fixable.
