how to get rid of bug splatters w/o washing the car?
Whenever I go back to school after washing my car, I get bugs all over it
And we can't wash our cars at school .. duh
Is there a product out there you guys would recommend?

First, Clean it as best you can. Get a soft scrub brush, a bucket of water and go at it
Dry it
then get bug and tar remover.
If you dont have any of that. Get a coke, lemon Juice, and ice. Mix it.
Soak your sponge in it and scrub gently.
Wash again with soap and water (quickly)
(why coke and lemon?)
The acid in the coke and lemon will break down anything. The ice just makes it work faster.
(kinda like to clean a burnt coffee pot, just drop 3 quarter slices of lemon, a 1/4 cup of cold water, hand full of ice, and a dab of salt. Swirl it and in 5 min the burn will be gone.)

WD-40 works good, its basically the same thing as Bug and Tar remover, just lebeled differenet. smell it
works great for me
but what I've found that really helps is keeping the car waxed often, cuz then the bugs don't tend to stick to the paint so easy. I can almost just wipe them off with my hand against the smooth waxed paint.

Sometimes I use the Meguiars quik detailer spray (I think that's what it's called), and wipe them off, or I'll use a damp cloth with soap/water and take them off that way.
Doesn't that suck how you wash your car only to have it get all dirty on the drive back?
