Trouble starting up in my 89 SX16
Its a 1989 SX16 integra, has about 135,000 KM's (NOT MILES) on the clock.
And the car currently will only start if cranked for at least 15seconds, or straight away if you clamp the fuel-out line.
The distributer rotor has been replaced (it was an aftermarket and blackening), and the coil to the distributer adjusted, cleaned injectors, and new ignition module.
Its been taken to 2 different mechanics, and after both visits it left fine and then started to do this again.
an auto-electrician who is contracted to do work for them checked some relay and circuit board which often go wrong in this vintage of honda, it checks out fine, so he suspects it must be a fuel pressure problem. This is checked, and fuel pressure is very good. This leads him to believe that the sparks from the sparkplugs are not adequate (which he had commented on when they were trying to find the problem ealier, but they disregarded it), so he is pretty certain something is undervolting in the system, whether it be the coil or main computer
Im wondering if anyone one has had similar problems, and if so how they fixed it.

sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Have you tried turning the key to II until the check engine light goes out, and then starting it? I've found that on mine if i do that after it's been sitting overnight, it will start right up. In my case it's a pressure bleed down problem due to the age of the car mroe than anything. Also this is probably a dumb question but have you checked the fuel injector o-ring seals to make sure they're not leaking? That could cause this problem too.
