Hanging brake lines
I just installed Bilstein shocks and it doesn't come with anything to mount the brake lines to like on the stock shocks(front). So right now the lines are just hanging around the shock. I'm wondering whether or not it's safe to leave them the way they are. For those people who are running these shocks, what did you do?
1 more question about the Bilsteins, the fronts come with a metal cylinder that is separate from the shock, I"m wondering where does this thing go? Thanks guys

on my teins i have the same prob. i just got some zip ties and straped them to where it would be on the stock shock. but i also rotated the tire and moved it around to make sure it wouldnt stretch. it seems to work

Same deal here, no problems so far

I have Bilstein shocks on my ITR too, and in the instructions it told me to hammer off the brake line holder from the stock shock and reuse them on the Bilstein shock. That metal cylinder is used to help you hammer the stock brake line holder onto the new shock. The brake line holder seems like it's permanently affixed to the stock shock but it's not. Hope that made sense!

many inspectors are catching on to the zip-tie trend and this setup will NOT pass.
despite this, I use zip ties too, although pay special attention to them not rubbing.

As in yearly safety/emission inspections? Interesting. I guess I'll find out in a couple of months.
And no rubbing issues whatsoever. That little black sleeve is to make sure it doesn't rub against the fork and the lines are coated/sleeved.

here are some quick shots of when I did mine, like what was said above, you remove the old bracket on the stock shock and pound it on the new shock using the metal tube.
Pounding on
All done bling!

That metal tube did come with the Bilstein shocks. I wish I made this post before putting the shocks in without doing that.. Oh well, I'll just zip tie the lines.
tube, metal pipe, same ole chit
unless someone says something, looks like zip ties are gonna stay.
speaking of weight reduction, i got my '00 integra down to 2260. still got more to go

The metal tube was included with the shocks, I have two of them if you need one I can ship you one for free...
you can see in the lower pic that there is a little tab on the bracket, after I bent that little tab outwards I just too a big *** screwdriver and a hammer and hammered around the bracket, there is a nice lip on the bracket to stick the screwdriver on I also stuck the old shock in my vice so I wouldnt have to sit there and hold it while I pounded away. it was a PITA to get them off, but I eventually got them off, bending that little tab outwards really helps.
Lol as for the floor mat, I think target or wallmart would have them
