2 problems: seatbelt and windshield
I did a search, but to little avail.
1: My seatbelt doesn't recoil on it's own anymore, I have to help it back in. When I unbuckle and get out, half the time my seatbelt is hanging out of the car. It's annoying. How do I fix this problem?
2: In the morning and in the evening, when the sun is lower in the sky, I can see a lot of little pits, if you will, in the windshield and it makes it hard to see. I have cleaned the inside and the outside as well as clayed the outside. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks.

1. I have the same problem... Maybe you could replace the seatbelt coil spring? Check http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net for some info.
2. Not much you can do about this one. You can actually wax the windshield with any commercial auto wax. I know they also make polishes specifically for glass - you might be able to hand or machine polish out the pits.

I have the same problem, but when I went to the dealer to complain they said it woas working fine... Yeah hangin out the door. MFs.
So I deal with it- cause I don't want to deal with the Dealers no more.

Opps, I forgot...
As for the Glass having chips and small imperfections, there is NOTHING you can do unless you want to replace the whole glass.
I know- cause I tried everything, the only thing that will minimize the ugly-ness is to keep it well coated with rain-X so the rain and dirt stays off it for a bit longer.

I don't like dealing with dealers either, but it's really annoying me and they'll wash my car (it' been something like three months).

Yea, I've already done the RainX. Also, I don't see a use in replacing it if the same thing is just going to happen again, you know?

my seat belt has come unbuckled several times while i'm driving. it'll seem completely normal.. it clicks, i adjust it and the light goes out... two of the times it happened on the twisty backroad between the freeway and my house but it takes over an hour to get there... i will go to acura as soon as i get a day off
I think the pits can be fixed. I would check with an auto glass company. Mine was the same way until a rock hit my windshield last week. Now I get a new one for free.
With the windshield, try spraying a lot of windex on it and cleaning it with really fine steel wool. Once it is really clean, get some glass polish and try and buff it out. A lot of the small pits will easily come out, the big ones are there to stay...sorry man...

Take it to a dealer... like someone said that it's warrantied for life from Acura/Honda. If you disassemble it, you lose the warranty for good. It's not hard to fix it, but I would just have the dealer fix it so there will be a record of it getting fixed/replaced.

Chris, I have experienced alot of road trips in my Integra and the glass pits are irreversible. It was caused on my car by a sandstorm in New Mexico. I have tried tons and tons of stuff to make it look better but it does not work.
I am going to replace my windshield for $160 installed.

Go to the dealer to fix it since it is life time warranteed and the main reason I knew it was you on the road the other day was because it was the dirtiest car on the road!
if the dealer won't fix it ask for the managers name and the dsm's name and number. call the dsm and tell him so and so won't fix your belts and if you get into an accident and gets hurt you will sue honda for not fixing the problem the first time.
honda/acuras seat belts are warrantied for life as long as the car is not salvage.
btw dsm= district service manager.
