look at the location of this oil cooler
How is the bumper going to fit back on and how will the oil cooler get air flow? http://www.turbocivic.net/oilcooler.htm where is the most ideal place to mount these things?
im thinking that there is still going to be quite a bit of turblence from the IC and bumper so i think its still going to get air from it being so turbulent.
It might also from a low pressure spot behind the bumper so air is going to find its way in there.
Just my 2 cents, could be way wrong
Ideally you could mount it to open airflow maybe in the side vents of the bumper
how much do those things normally go for?

Im thinking of running a diffuser on the bumper and cover it with a mesh and spray paint it so its not too obvious. not a big diffuser, just like a small 2 x 6 rectangle so air can pass thru.

so what do u suggest?
so what do u suggest?
install the oil cooler, but if you doint have an oil temp gauge, install one as well. take a drive on the freeway and watch your oil temps, if they go down below 160ish you could use a peice of cardboard to cover portions of the cooler untill you can cruise, and maintain 160-200'ish oil temps, and remove it when you drag or whatever.
or for a better alternative, you can pick up one of theese http://www.thinkauto.com/oilstats.htm
