Just got a quote for tinting the windows on my car... came out at about $400 CAD, other simular cars cost about $250. There was the problem of the tint not being able to completely cover the windows due to the rubber seals which was why the cost went up/

For those of you who have tinted your windows how much did it cost? And were there any problems with the rubber seals? And how did you get the tint on without any holesaround the edges?

 

There is no reason for you to be charged anymore. The only problem w/ G3 integras is the little rubber gromet that is in the top right corner of the driver's side door and the top left of the passenger's door. And a good tint installer can cut a hole and tint your window w/o any problem.

Try looking around. And $150-$200USD is probably about right for a lifetime warranty.

 

Thanks. That is what I had thought. I figured that they were charging overly much. Unfortunately that is the only place in town that will tint windows. So I will have to wait until I go to a larger city.

all i know is....i just got a ticket for havin tint on my front windows in tracy ca. BLAH whatevver...and it aint even dark.... i forgot the % but my back is darker then my fronts. i still aint takin it off, imma just have a friend write it off for me

i got mine tinted last november for $250. I got 5% all around with computer cut tint and a lifetime warranty, so yeah $400 is waaaaay too much

 

southern cal i guess is the cheapest, i paid $135 for all 5 windows. i got 20% on all side windows and 5% on the rear hatch......i learned from my mistakes of puttin 5% all the way around with 35% on the windshield of my old explorer, i could not see that well driving on a non-lit canyon let alone with fog.....

got my 4dr gizzer tinted 5% all aound (except for front) for $120

 

in los angeles u can get it tited for a lil more than $100
i got mine done for 130
i would not pay much more that $100 to get all 5 windows tinted

 

Seems that about $150-$250 US is the going rate for tinting windows. Equates to roughly $195-$325 CAD.

So $400 is a little bit overpriced but not a great deal. Will still have to do some shopping around to see if I can get it for $250.

There are more than a few places down here in Miami that will tint your windows for under $100, and do a pretty good job of it. I had one shop quote me $75 to tint my car (01 Teg) with a lifetime warranty.

nice integra 20% looks to be good...it gets HOT here in the summer..must have tint haha
