My buddy ran 5-6PSI on the Greddy blue box without any issues for a while. Pretty conservative...no detonation to say the least

I wouldnt boost over 6psi without an IC, you can pick up a 1G dsm sidemount for like 50 bucks and they fit pretty good, mine fit in like it was meant to be there and that was on a 90 crx.....its definetly a better alternative than no IC

$50 for some cheap insurance until you can scrounge up enough $$$$$ for a nice FMIC. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me.

I am that buddy and I didn't have any problems at all. When I finally got the front mount it was a HUGE difference. I say run without an intercooler and save for a front mount.

I got a DSM g1 smic, and I would recommend it. It fits easy, cheap, and gives you a little more piece of mind.

btw I got another one for sale, I'll do you for 35 + 7 shipping.

Yes, as long as you have a decent fuel setup and have your car tuned with some sort of standalone (Hondata, AEM EMS). I was planning to run the same setup (greddy at 10psi with hondata) about two months ago. There are always other variables to consider, so nothing is always completely "safe".
