what do i have to do to replace this

1. do i have to replace the whole dash?
2. can i take the dash out and just replace that peice?
3. can i replace that peice while the dash is in?

damn man, sucks that happened to you. When I helped change out my friends interior, the bolts for that piece were exposed through the back, but doing it with the dash in the car, I don't see how that's possible. That entire piece will have to be replaced for sure, but the dash looks fine, so that's good.

 

so basically the dash needs to come out to replace this?

 

unfortunately, ::yes:: you will have to take the whole dash out. Mine is cracked as well from stupid *** thieves and when I went to get one from a junkyard, I tried to get it out, but to no avail.
