Default HOW ARE TODA ITB's BETTER THAN THE REST?

okay heres the deal i just got spanked by my homies B16 DA by a car. I was looking into toda ITB's since i havent even touch my head yet(except for a valve job)i heard they make alot of power at the end of gears where b18a's and b's tend to need it most during a good run. if someone give me the PROs and CONs of toda ITB's and any other cams. thanks for your opinions

Look at the ALL MOTOR FORUM and search for it.

TODA ITB's are probobly the most expensive intake option you can possiably take. You need a complete stand-alone fuel management/ecu system, lots of tuning. and you run the risk of sucking birds into your engine.

Stick with a good IM.

TODA itb's are not better than most pther ITB brands out there. The product is a very nice constructed part. As for home made ITB's, it would really depend on the motor set-up that you have, because most of these home made itb's that I have seen are using motorcycle itb's and I just think that is just to small of mm for it to really make good HP.

Todas are the best. i talked to few guys that ran todas and twms they said toda is better for the street and makes nice power through the whole power band, twms are excellent for just top end, they run twms at the track and toda for the street, the reason y toda is good for "street" is because of the horn size i beleive its 43mm and twm is like 57mm its like a charge pipe for turbo, too big and slow spool, its like that on itb as well todas are more expensive and i dont think they make them for a b18c1 head.

Don't forget to look at Jenvey. People are having great amounts of success using these ITB's both on racing applications and on the street. After deciding on a set of ITB's to play with, I determined that for a street car, your best option is to make a set from the GSXR 1000 throttle bodies and a stock intake manifold. If you want a larger bore for a more powerful application, then use Hayabusa throttle bodies and an aftermarket manifold.
