yup .. you will have to take them to a shop to get them pressed out. changing the wheel bearings will just save hassle down the road
i'm about to do the same install - just with skunk2 lugs.

Tack welding the studs stops them from spinning, but does not help with them stripping because the metal is too soft.

you can use a slide hammer to remove the wheel hub then do the stud install. line up the hub on the axle and use air impact to tighten it back on. you have to get it tighter then when it was on their before so it will seat back on the bearing. just let it impact on till it wont move anymore I have done this many times and it works. this is how people at work do it(Honda dealership)
