look into the J's, it was independently dynoed by someone in the itr forum to be better than the aem acorss the powerband.

are you considering the filter itself? or the whole piping.

In terms of the filter itself, I like the K&N style since it tends to filter better than the foam filters. As long as your intake/filter has a velocity stack, it should perform about the same.
