How long to make test pipe?

The motor is a 96 b18c1 and im using the header I had on my 94 ls. The exhaust is also originally from a 94 ls. How long should I make the test pipe to have the proper length when the motor goes in?

Whip out the measuring tape, and be sure to leave room for the flanges on either end.

i believe stock cat size on a gsr is 17" correct me if i'm wrong.

It's closer to 17.5".
