Default 6th gen shocks

What are you other 6th gen people using for shocks? Also how many miles do you think would be good to purchase new springs? Im at 105k and am hearing a squeaking noise (from the strut).

it sounds like its time for a full suspension upgrade. have you though about a full coilover setup?
I've got Tein SS coilovers.

Mine are gone as well. I was thinkin about the Teins then thought about it, "what do I replace the tein struts with when they blow?" Of course the Teins but thas only if they are still avaliable when they blow. THe scnece could fade out anyday. Im going with Tein S-Tech springs with Tokico Illuminas when spring comes, til then im rollin on two dead struts up front.

I was thinking about getting a tein coil over set up. Any group buys anyone knows of? the honda dealer quoted about $360.00 for installation ($65.00 hourly plus alignment [$55.00].

$360.00 for install!!! DAMN!! thas a lot. The only deal i see in that is the alignment. Id say do the install yourself and save $305.00 bucks. On average its only $200 for install.

I don't see Tein going any where any time soon. Tein is not a crap brand, and quality brands tend to stay around. besides the shocks can be rebuilt. I've had mine on for about 2years and no problems at all.

Sportlines are $195 from Shox.com.

Getting the Blues from eBay. Little less than $250 plus $30 shipping.

Sportlines and KYB AGX.. they ride like buttah.. Jump on the bandwagon. Probably the best quality for the price.

dumb question

I've got a 6th gen and my front struts are starting to sweek too. If I push on the front end, it doesn't bounce like crazy, which to me is normal for a blown strut, but does the sweeking happen before they blow?
