Ever since I installed a Pioneer in my car my antenna won't go up - I have that thing connected to the antenna plug on it - when hitting source the radio goes on and I hear static but not even so much as an attempt from the motor to raise the antenna? What gives?

I never had any problems with the antenna clicking before or anything like that

try to connect the antenna (the cable coming from the antenna itself) to another power source. A good one would be the maintenance wire and test to see if the antenna itself is working. Second, i would check the antenna wire from the head unit to see if there is power coming from there.

The power antenna wont activate until there is current sent down the antenna wire.

 

where is the maintenance wire?
