Default oil pan gasket help

does anyone know what side the oil pan gasket is supposed to go on...is it flat surface against the block and fins against the oil pan?

anyone think oil pan gasket brand matters..i.e. felpro(autozone) or oem honda?

and are you supposed to not run the car after installing the oil pan gasket? someone told me that just want to get some suggestions

thanks

There is a specific pattern to it so it only goes on one way. It doesnt really matter whos gasket you use but the torque spec is important. If its too tight the oil pan will slightly warp between the bolts causing it to seep oil slowly. If that happens, just loosen them and retorque.
