I need some help clearing things up. Here's my situation.
I have a '97 b20 block (OBD2)
I have a '97 B16 head (OBD2)
I have a '95 integra GSR (doesnt matter what obd it is, its stripped, no useful parts)
I have a '94 Integra LS as a donor car. Now, I've been planning on running an Uberdata ECU (I'm turbocharging the vehicle) I was going to reprogram my LS ECU (since its OBD1)
Here's my question. since my head is OBD2, will I be able to us my OBD1 LS wiring harness? I figure I'd have to add in some wires (vtec, specifically... theres already a knock sensor on the b20 block, is there a knock sensor plug on my harness?)
now, from what I've gathered, the problem I'm going to run into, is that in order to use my OBD1 harness on my OBD2 head, I'd have to put on OBD1 distrbutor, injectors, and alternator on to the OBD2 b16 head.
1st off, is this true (I assume it is, it makes sense)
2nd off, how hard is it? I mean I need new injectors anyway, for the boost, and I have an OBD1 alternator, and I have an OBD1 distributor (both courtesy of the LS integra).
Anyone that can help would absolutely make my day. the hardest part about turbo hybrid swaps seems to be the wiring... I mean if I have to, I'll buy a harness, or ECU.
thanks a ton in advance.

Yeas you can use your obd1 harness, as you sayd add vtec and knock sensor wiring since the b18a/b dont have one.
yes, you gonna need the dizzy(or repin the obd2), injectors or injector clips and alternator
also if you want vtec you need a vtec ecu.

I was reading more around... Somebody told me that I can use Uberdata to chip a D-series vtec ECU and it will work the same as a vtec b-series. is that true?
sorry if that sounds ridiculous.
-Mike
edit- and if thats true, can I use a D-series wiring harness for my swap too? I have a '94 EX I can strip parts off of.
make things a hell of alot easier.

if you are swapping a LS/VTEC obd1 motor into ur car... then definately keep ur wiring harness no matter what, because you are already wired for vtec.....
As for the ECU re-chipping, I have never heard of that before. But if it was me, I would personally just stick with a b-series VTEC ecu.

SE-rv-tak- you mean keep the wiring harness from the '94 ex? because that already wired for Vtec. I mean that engine isnt going into the '94 ex, but I have the harness, so I can use that with the engien going into a '95 integra.

yes you can reprogram an OBD1 P28 (SOHC VTEC) Ecu to DOHC VTEC spec using a DOHC VTEC program that has a disabled knock sensor. P28's do not have a knock sensor hardware built into them, thats why you need to use a knock sensorless program. Its suggest to use a DOHC VTEC program too, because you want a B-series program to satisfy your engines fuel & timing hunger. A SOHC program will run too lean for a B engine.
if most of your engine's electronics, mainly: distributor, injectors, & alternator .. you can use an OBD2 integra engine harness even though your integra is an OBD1 vehicle. OBD2 integra engine harnesses are backwards compatible with OBD1 vehicles....should just plug n' play.
as for the EX harness you have access to, I HIGHLY suggest using this harness over a non-vtec harness....the only thing you havent mentioned if you have OBD1 or OBD2 engine electronics (igntion, injectors, alternator, etc).
