what year for the black itr how much do they sell for now? any year.
I would like to buy an ITR in the next 12 mo. I really like them in black. I know that was one of the last years for them so buying price may be an issue. CW maybe the only affordable option. How much do type-r's cost?

Black in 2000 and 2001 (along with yellow), white in 97 and 98. Prices for 97 & 98s tend to list around 17-21k, 2000s & 2k1s for 20-25k....of course, you can find deals etc, depends on mileage and other stuff.

Is there anything I should be aware of when looking for an itr? Other that what should be avoided with any used car?

you should look in the itrca.com classified section. I've been seeing a lot of itr's going on sale lately. I believe there is a 2000 fbp itr on sale right now for like $19,800.
