Default quick dp question

if i am going to be running 2.25" for the exhaust is there any reason to make the dp lager than 2.25"?

on that same note, anyone know the diameter of the hole in the flange? cause if it is bigger than 2.25" it would be easier to just make the dp the same size as the hole.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by tgh99si &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">man i dont really know if you want a 2.25 dp</TD></TR></TABLE>

the only reason i want to do that right now is:

a. i have extra 2.25" pipe to use
b. i will be boosting low levels 5-6psi for now
c. i am keeping stock exhaust untill i up grade this summer.

so if i have a dp larger than 2.25 it wont make a difference because the rest of the piping will be stock?

those were my thoughts, but i am open to suggestions

yea it is extra from the ic piping.

i dont really want to go 2.5" all the way back cause that would cost me too much right now. thats what i plan on doing this summer when i can work(i go to school right now)

i want something like this, only that does the opposite.
