Default Exhaust leak question?

I recently had a minor accident in which my exhaust was damaged. Looking under the car i cant see and visual damage, but when i drive at times i can hear the exhuast coming apart some where between the cat, header or beging of the cat back and i been told that u can also see the smoke coming from up under the car while driving. Im planning on buy a new header and cat soon so i dont waste any money trying to fix it now but I had made an appointment for this weekend to dyno tune me Vafc2. I was just wondering how much of a power loss i can be facing dynoing now so i can decide if i should just save my 60 bucks and wait till i get the header even though i really wanted to get a dyno in before the header install so that I would know exactly what i gained from the header.

I would just get it tuned AFTER you get new stuff.

Just drop the whole exhaust and dyno-tune it like that. That way your numbers will only be scaled down based on how restrictive the new exhaust is.

could make you lose some back pressure...

if your going to get it tuned, do it right the first time bro' If your not going to waste your money getting it fixed, why waste your money getting it tuned w/ a very noticiable exhaust leak..

well i canceld the dyno for tomorrow and ordered my DC JDM ITR header with carsound 2.5 cat. Now all i need to do is wait for it to come and see what else imma need to get it installed then i can reschedual the dyno and hopefully gain some good power tuning it wit the Vafc.

Damn it feels good to do things the right way to get the best results.
