Default simple answer...hopefully

well, my battery went dead due to loose connection somehow, now, my speedometer doesn't work. Everything else in the cluster works except for the speedo. Is there a fuse for just the speedo?

Under the passenger side dash, above the ECU, you will find a green plug that contains a 2-pin connector. Using a paper clip, short the two pins together.

More information can be found here

are you even throwing a code...?

pull out the cluster and check the wiring on the back to make sure none of the wires were shorted or blown...... also make sure your connections are solid.

There is a blue connector under the passenger side of the dash right next to the ECU that is not pluged in to anything, take a wire or paper clip and jump that connector, then turn the key to the on position and count the flashes long ones are 10 and shorts are ones. Once you have the code that it is throwing do a search and you will know what is wrong.
