I am stuck right now with the most lame *** cd player in the world. an awia something or other that will not stop skipping.(it came with the car).. I used to be really big into the car audio world, but I am not familiar with whats new and whats a good value for the money.

Low end Clarion will be your best bet. The Db225 is a good entry level unit.

 

If you look on ebay you can get a pioneer for around 200
