Default a timing belt question (valve related)

my buddy bought a 90 accord ex. he was driving down the road and it just stalled on him and wouldnt start. he checked for spark and was getting that and fuel. i told him to pull the valve cover off and look at the timing belt. it was loose as hell and it turns out that the balace chaft belt broke and broke the tensioner somhow. well he got all new parts put them on but it wont start.

he has the flywheel mark (white) in the v grove, and the cam gear is perfectly alligned, also the distributor is pointing to #1 cylinder. i did a compression check and got 0 accros the board!!!! i was like WTF, is it possible that enough valves could be bent so that no compression was made??? if somehow the cam was missaligned would there be no reading??? when we crank it over it sounds like there is no plugs in it, you just hear the starter whine but there is no compressin sounds????

sorry for the long post

Landon

if the timing is right, then it sounds that he bent all the valves

Yes I have been through this before and found that the only newer single cam honda motor that bend valves is the f22 23 engines
