is this a sign of a blown HG?
Recently, have noticed that there is white/milky substance mixed in my coolant reservoir. I remember reading before that it could be the HG...could it be anything else? My EGTs read fine and car overheats occasionally in stop and go traffic. Is this the prime suspect?
Thanks!
Thanks!
check the underside of your oil cap for a milky substance. clean your coolant tank out and clean it, then re-install it.
if there is milky substance under the oil cap its definately blown.

Ive had the milky crap under my oil cap and didnt have a blown head gasket as like you thats what I though it would be. I took off the valve cover cleaned all the crap and the oil cap and it didnt come back. (weird)!
