Turbo TL??
Anyone know of any Turbo TLs?? I have a 03 TLS and want more power. The Comptech supercharger is available but too expensive for only 40whp. I think its like 6,000 with install cost. I want a turbo kit. BOV and spool up sounds are sexy. Anyone know of turbo kits or good shops for custom work??

who said it makes 40whp? ctsc makes like 320fwhp. that's with like 6-7lbs. also, if you just want a turbo for the sound, i dont think you should get it. if u want some bov kidna sound, i think they make someting for the exhaust to imitate the sound.

I have a 96 2.5 TL and would love to know someone that would fab a kit to fit it. I want to build the whole thing up to see what kind of sleeper it would be. This would be good for all the viogr owners as well with the same g25 powerplant.

Maybe re-evaluate the credibility of the Comptech unit or re-evaluate why you want a turbo. Not so much horsepower to make the car unreliable, great workmanship, and the engineering already done. If you're still wanting a turbo luxo car, get a SC300 and swap in a Supra turbo.
As an NSX owner whose car is too "tracked out" to be streetable and too "street" to be totally tracked out, the advantage of a near OEM power booster is very attractive.

I am aware about your car, you talked to me on AIM.
But he asked about his J32 engine and F/I....So i told him that he can supercharge it...
your best bet would be to turbocharge your G25, because your exhaust manifold as well as your intake manifold are exactly how they need to be in order to turbocharge a car.

there has been a couple j30/j32 turbos, all that were auto im pretty sure blew their trannys or they were going out after a couple months. the j32 with ctsc and hb pulley puts down about 280-320 depending on whether its 6spd or 5at. the fastest j32 turbo (03 cl 6spd) ran 12.9@113 6psi untuned on street tires.
theres a shop donw here in South Florida, that did a custom turbo (t-60) on a 2003 v6 accord!!! i think it put out over 350hp...(if i'm not mistaken) car is nice as hell!!! i can get u there number...i know they'll hook u up, only thing is the v6 accord had a 6-speed tranny, and honda made v6 tranny's are know to blow!!!
that guy is on http://www.v6performance.net, i forget his name. it was red wasnt it?
If you think a super charger is to expensive then you will definetly think a custom turbo kit is to much. I dont think anyone will custom fabricate a turbo kit for cheap. But if you are willin to pay the price you can call complete-engineering. They custom fabricated my turbo kit for my 96 SC 300 Lexus. They did a good job for 362 horespower to the wheels at only $5800 installed. http://www.complete-engineering.com
don't turbo it... for that matter s/c it. The car already makes 270hp at the crank. There's only so much power you can put down on the front wheels.
If you're ready to burn another $5k... get a rwd and turbo charge it. Nothing beats a hp rwd beast that can accommodate fat slicks in the back.
