Default Comptech Icebox HP Gains

The icebox/drop-in filter arrived yesterday. I am attempting the installation this weekend. I'm curious about one thing. What are the expected whp gains by bolting the icebox on a completely stock system? I did some search here, but couldn't find anything. I have plans for an H/E later, but I wonder how the icebox will perform by itself. I am guessing gains in the 5-10whp range. And for about $200, I guess that would be well worth the investment, considering the addition of a H/E combo later could improve things further.

19whp is only believable if it's combo with H/E.

sorry, my mistake....I misread the post. I thought you were only taking about the drop-in. The icebox should net you some more gain.

that 19whp added is a total sham

If you look on the website and check out the dyno graphs it says added 19 but it states that it was accomplished with just the icebox

I have just the Icebox/filter plus advanced timing, and I hit 171.4whp at my only dyno day.
