How do you take out climate control?
how do you take out a 98 civic climate control? is there a site with a diagram or step by step instructions? i'm lookin to replace mine..thanks!
This may skip a few steps so bear with me I havent done this in a couple months. You need to take out a good deal of the dash to get it out.
Pry out the hazards switch and the defroster switch. There are 2 screws behind them to pull out.
I think you have to take apart the bottom part of the dash under the drivers and passengers knees as well. 3 screws on the drivers side and some clips. Not sure on the numbers of screws on the passengers side.
Now pull out the lower portion of the dash below the radio and such. 2 screws I think.
From there it should be fairly straightforward. Just pull out all of the screws/bolts that are holding it in and the whole center part of the dash pulls out. Good luck!

That's for an EG. The EK is completely different, but I'm helping the guy out through AIM.
