Two suggestions, because it is easy to break parts if you do not know which screws to go looking for on this job:

Download the service manual for your Civic from http://www.spoonhonda.com/SearchResu...9&Redirected=Y and find the radio and heater control unit removal sections. The 93 Civic manual should work fine for a 95.

Practice on a junkyard unit.

I pulled my heater control unit a few months ago after doing the above. Once I had practiced on a junkyard unit, mine was easier because I have one of those aftermarket radios that eject for theft protection.

oh.. just to add.. the difficult screws are the one that point upwards. you kind of have to adjust yourself in weird angles to get those screws out.. it's the hardest part because you need small hands and a stubby screwdriver. (that's for your climate control)

The way i did it was,

1. remove ashtray/center console
2. popped out my head unit
3. 3 screws hold in the climate control, 2 in the front, and one big one in the back.
4. then disconnect your heater control wire.
