fuel injector order??

fuel injector order??

ok, this might sound dumb, but i have finished the mpfi swap and my car is still running bad, i think it might be because i have the a3 and a7 on the wrong injectors. looking at the engine from infront of the car (standing infront of the bumper facing the windshield) do the injectors go 4-3-2-1-->left to right??? or is it 1-2-3-4-->left to right? please help. it sucks not having a car.

the cylinders are numbered (facing the engine) #1 closest to the timing belt and #4 being closest to the distributor and trans
