question for yOu HIGH horsepower prelude owners
if any of you are making 350whp +...which i know some of you are...
i was just wondering...
from a 40 mph roll what gear do you start in...
would it be better to start in a higher gear...say 4th...to avoid lighting the tires up???
and for you 500whp+ owners....did you ever try a 40 mph roll from 5th???
does this eliminate traction problems???

Yep, your spool times will be horrendous. Take a regular car, put it in 5th gear at 40mph and multiply the sluggishness times 10. Turbo's run off of exhaust gasses, the lower your RPM the less exhaust gasses you have spinning your turbo.
Basically from a 40mph roll you want to use 2nd gear. Sooner or later you'll get around to memorizing the gears you need for the certain mph's.
