Default heres yet another wideband controller on the markety

http://www.widebandcommander.com/productinfo.htm

As a world leader in motorsports chassis dynamometers and diagnostic equipment, Dynojet Research Inc. is pleased to announce the Wide Band Commander.

The Wide Band Commander is a tuner’s best friend. It provides a complete picture for proper air-to-fuel ratio analysis. Unlike many “Air/Fuel Systems” on the market that use inferior narrow band technology, this unit has the capability to read from 10.1:1 to 18.1:1 using a Bosch 5 wire LSU4 wideband sensor. This is by far the most complete kit available on the market today.

Once installed, the Wide Band Commander provides an “in-vehicle” dash mount AFR display gauge with a built in warning light, as well as data recording which can be retrieved and analyzed using the supplied software package.

Looks pretty nice, and it's cool that they sell it as a complete kit with all the neccessary cables and software rather than having to upgrade and add things. Well respected and very reputable company as well, cant beat that name.

No doubt! It has my vote so far. And, what are these other options for innovate that cost so much and that we need so bad with the kit itself? Seems pretty complete to me.

What is the RPM converter/pickup? That would put the Innovate right at $450. I don't see any other accessories that are needed. I do think I would like the automater gauge over the digital readout, but who knows.

The beauty of the Innovate Motorsports one is first and foremost the customer service. When I call with a question I get to speak with the inventor/creator/designer whatever you call Klaus everytime I call. No waiting, no hassle and he always answers my questions on the phone or online in record time.

I have also taken part in and watched many group buys on these Wideband's over the past few months. If you had found the best group buys you could have gotten the Unit, the AUX box, the inductive RPM pickup, and extra 02 bung and the O2 out cable all for under $450 shipped.

The other beauty of the LM-1 one is it can be used with the Hondata because you can scale the wideband O2 out and then there is another narrowband out that can fool the ECU into not making any changes to try and get back to stoich like the Honda ECU does.

IMO, LM-1 = best bang for the buck in ALL catagories you could think of

I did not see in the description of the dynojet wideband, but the Innovate LM-1 has 5AUX inputs, that I use to log MAP, TPS, IAT, etc. So it's like a full blown data acquisition solution.

Caveat: there have been some issues with RPM pickup, but it is being worked on.

I was wondering, which version of the sensor do they use ? All cies like IM, AEM, PLX, Tech-Edge and now Dynojet only say LSU4 ? There's is a big difference between LSU4.2 and LSU4.7, both in specs and price.

Here is some background on the AEM sensor, it is NOT an LSU4.2

Nice post. Example of something that should be in a FAQ or sticky.
