hahahahaha, no, they don't help at all.. People will go out and buy some 1500$ set of wheels for the street, or spend money on the motor, but won't by a lightweight set of wheels for the front to race on.. Its dumb..

People use steel wheels because they are cheap and they put their race tires on them, in NO way do they help with ET, they arn't light..

Ok, yes, they will be ligher than the 92-93 prelude wheels, they are heavy!! The 94-96 ones are much lighter! Only weigh 15.5 lbs, i have 2 sets for my 1993 prelude..

What Im saying is that if your gonna spend all that money preparing a car, why not get 2 light *** wheels and use them to drag race on?

So then why dont people just get a set of 94-96 for the track? Also, do the rear tires matter in any way even though they are not spinning, or only the rotating front tires?

Come on fellas, use your heads!

So then why dont people just get a set of 94-96 for the track?
Because the steel wheels just cost about 20$ a piece, or you can get them for free sometimes. Where as other aftermarket wheels or addiotional prelude wheels would cost over a 100$ a pop..

Rear tires don't matter as much, just fill them up to about 45 lbs for the least rolling resistance, the narrower the better...
