SH owners!! clutch question
Yes..it's a definite PITA... The ATTS system gets in the way, and you have to drop that as well..
Then if you drain it, you have to get ATF and MTF..
It took me 3 days to get my clutch changed.. but this was while I was going to school/work as well.
It saved me a ton of $$$, but took quite a while.

why would you even have to drop the tranny?
couldnt you just spread it apart about 6 inches and remove/install everything?
then you wouldnt have to drop anything. just move **** a bit.

Agreed.. or else just let the damn ATTS system sit on your chest.
You can't just spread the tranny apart IMO.. first of all, you don't have 6" of room horizontally in the engine bay to just *slide* the tranny over.
secondly you have do get a new clutch/pp in there, and you also have to fit a torque wrench in there.
Also you will need several jacks.. one to hold the tranny, the ATTS unit(if you don't want to undo the lines), the engine and the dam'd car.
